We are seeking a Corporate Security Engineer who loves challenging problems in Information Security. This person will work on internal security and privacy initiatives and will be responsible for hands-on, day-to-day activities, as well as supporting strategic plans and projects to meet specific company internal security goals and objectives. This person will work with a team consisting of multi-disciplinary Information Security Engineers, and will be responsible for assessing security controls and executing existing processes through corporate policies, standards, and programs

What you'll be doing:

    • Supports the Corporate Security team with internal security initiatives
    • Stay up to date on the latest information security technologies
    • Contribute to security policies, standards, and guidelines related to Information Security and ensure they are followed throughout the company
    • Support security awareness activities
    • Support security assessments of third party vendors and products
    • Support security assessments of roles and accesses across systems, environments and applications
    • Respond and handle internal security requests and escalate when appropriate

Your background and who you are:

    • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Familiar with information security policies and standards development and enforcement, strategies, and third party risk management
    • High level understanding of backend and IT software components to support security initiatives
    • Experience coordinating and executing security and risk assessments
    • Experience in Security awareness initiatives
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus points:

    • Conduct after action reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices
    • Contributions to the security community (e.g., public research, blogging, presentations, etc.) is a plus
    • Certified or pursuing a Security Certifications such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), SANS Cyber Security Certifications through Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) organization
