Security Operations Lead (SecOps)

Position Description:   
 
The Security Operations Lead (Manager, Sr. Manager, Director *openings*) will provide extensive experience with Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR) and Threat Intelligence (TI). They also should possess strong experience in operating and analyzing security operations program and managing a global delivery team and international clients. 

 
Primary Objectives: 
  • Manages and grows companies ServiceNow Security Operations practice  
  • Work with ServiceNow’s SecOps sales team to identify ServiceNow SecOps opportunities  
  • Advise customers on best practices for vulnerability response and patch management, security incident response and hoe to leverage threat intelligence solutions. 
  • Advise customers on best practices for managing security initiatives including cross-functional dependencies and data import sources 
  • Assist in gathering and/or reviewing client's process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow, driving platform expansion and adoption 
  • Scope solution requirements and configure solutions around the ServiceNow platform to meet customer needs and project deliverables 
  • Develop requirements for implementation for the client's SecOps environment 
  • Consider dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable 
  • Create and deliver proposals and Statements of Work 
  • Provide and managed team to provide ServiceNow demos for Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR) and Threat Intelligence (TI) 
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which includes technical implementation of Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR) and Threat Intelligence (TI) workflow customization 
  
Qualifications 
  • 7-10 years of sales experience for security products, ideally with a focus on products heavily leveraged by a Security Operations Center (SOC) and/or vuln and patch management teams 
  • A strong understanding of the security market and security related business processes. 
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to help define a new market  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present ideas and processes to stakeholders with varying levels of technological experience 
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environmentAbility to forge strong business relationships and connect with both CISO / CIO at customers  
  • Works well in a team environment. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business of information technology or related discipline preferred. 
  • Up to 50% Travel required.
