Technical Project Manager – GRC/IRM/ERM

The Technical Project Manager has a passion for modernizing systems and process. Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with external customers on technical requirements and defining project scope for large and small engagements
  • Work with partner teams to build out timelines and scope
  • Frame and scope the problem statement, build requirements, enable resourcing, work with cross-functional stakeholders (including leadership), identify dependencies, reduce risks, and drive the initiative progress on a weekly basis.
  • Drive communications strategy for the initiatives, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the program performance and track/ensure program and industry impact.
  • Bring entrepreneurial mindset to identify risk and compliance oriented strategic initiatives and programs that would set the team as a dependable brand within Global Operations.
  • Define and document requirements, creating and documenting solutions to problems that can move the company forward
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the broad regulatory landscape
  • Design and deliver multiple cross-functional programs to bridge gaps and prepare for customers for upcoming regulatory obligations (privacy, compliance, TPRM and audit initiatives)
  • Lead multiple programs for driving critical risk, compliance, and audit initiatives
  • Represent Templar Shield to our external customer base. Templar Shield is customer success driven and the delivery team takes this principle seriously.
  • Demonstrate a passion and commitment towards always learning and growing in your technical knowledge.
Discipline Specific Competencies
  • 10+ years of risk, compliance & audit experience in consulting, strategy, or equivalent program management experience
  • 5+ years gathering technical requirements and communicating with engineers
  • Impeccable business judgment experience, along with a natural inclination to formulate hypotheses, design tests, and use problem-solving techniques to evaluate solutions.
  • Leadership skills in influencing and managing change. Experience leveraging knowledge and skills across multiple ongoing programs and stakeholders to drive change, motivate teams and deliver or support to deliver initiatives.
  • Strength in cross-functional collaboration with demonstrated expertise in driving complex highly ambiguous programs with multiple stakeholders. Experience facilitating brainstorming sessions to gather requirements.
  • Content creation and presentation skills – experience building and delivering executive leadership content.
  • Experience with Security and Compliance in the enterprise. This includes a solid understanding of at least one of the following disciplines and exposure to all of them: Security Infrastructure, Security Assessments, Risk Management, and PCI Compliance at an enterprise level.
  • A solid understanding of cyber security principles and demonstrated experience driving technical solutions
  • Must possess experience with building partnerships across multiple business units and executing effectively
  • Must possess strong consulting, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and practices, including agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • General awesomeness, positive can-do attitude and passion trump all other requirements

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC preferred.
